Started in radio in 1986 in Garden City, from there worked in Colby Kansas before coming to Grand junction and starting working at “this here place” in 1994 first as copy writer before going back on the air and back to mornings in 1996.
Favorite thing done in radio: Hmmmmmm my most favorite is doing the morning show with my spousal unit though it would be nice to start things off around “noonish” Other than that Turkey Bowling is just an amazing tradition and i do love the street team getting folks to do fun and ridiculous things for very little!
Hobbies include: Cheese eating, Adult beverage consuming, Cooking, camping and playing guitar when i am not doing the above.
Interesting fact about myself: I cant remember my original hair color…and lets see….And i am an amazing driver!!Another interesting side note not all know is that Chris and I are married.
Chris
Born: Glendale California
Started in radio at this very station when it was Q93 back back way back in 1985..From there my radio career took me to Denver to work at Kool 105. After my stint there, i decided the super slab what the way to go so tried my hand at truck driving. After a short while and a few “incidents” i realized that truck driving was not my forte and headed back to Grand Junction and came back to work at Magic in 1995.
Favorite thing you’ve ever done in radio: Well had the opportunity to Jet a way for a day with listeners and Mary to Las Vegas. Flew there in a leer jet, gambled and came back with limo waiting. Pretty amazing the things we get to do around here!
Hobbies include: Horse race Handicapper, Pittsburgh Steeler Football, Camping, Fishing, and cleaning the house in my underwear.Interesting fact about myself: I am rarely if at all constipated and i look very good in black and other bold colors.
